Remember Reykjavík isn’t just a souvenir shop, it’s a love letter to Icelandic design, nature, and storytelling. In 2025, Studioek was brought in to completely redesign and rebuild their digital presence, transforming it into a Shopify experience that feels like stepping into the store itself: warm, personal, and full of soul.

The Challenge

The old site didn’t reflect the charm and creativity of the physical shop. It lacked scalability, product storytelling, and modern eCommerce usability, which limited both customer engagement and long-term growth.

The Solution

We designed and developed a Shopify store that blends brand storytelling with seamless eCommerce:

Built on the Molding theme, then customized for scalability and flexible content management
Developed a collection structure that showcases products in a narrative-driven way
Designed typography, layout, and micro-interactions to reflect the warmth and craft of the brand
Implemented optimized product pages with storytelling modules to highlight Icelandic design and culture
