Overview

I partnered with H-BERG to design packaging for their new functional snack line: Prótein Stykki (oat bars) and Prótein Snakk (air-popped lentil chips). Both products pack 20% protein and target health-conscious consumers looking for clean, convenient fuel. The challenge was to create packaging that would stand out in competitive retail while clearly communicating nutrition and quality.

Approach

  • Prótein Stykki (Bars): Bright color blocking, clear typography, and minimal layouts for a sporty yet premium feel. The design instantly communicates “clean nutrition” and is built to convert at first glance.
  • Prótein Snakk (Chips): Bold, vibrant packaging with a stronger shelf presence. Clean labeling and energetic visuals reflect the product’s purity while grabbing attention in the snack aisle.

Outcome

The new H-BERG snack line is positioned as bold, modern, and trustworthy. Both packaging systems combine strong retail presence with minimal, functional design — helping H-BERG compete in Iceland’s growing health-food market while appealing to active, everyday consumers.
