Overview

I led the brand identity and design system for Bidd, an online marketplace platform. The goal was to build a foundation that would scale with the company’s rapid growth while earning trust in a competitive digital space. Working closely with the founders, I created a modern brand identity paired with a comprehensive Figma design system — over 120 documented components built with atomic design principles. The result is a consistent, scalable design language that balances trust with innovation, helping Bidd move faster while staying visually cohesive.

Design Process

  1. Research & Strategy I began with a deep dive into marketplace dynamics, mapping the journeys of both buyers and sellers. This included user interviews, competitive analysis, and pain-point mapping to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  2. System Architecture Using atomic design principles, I created a modular design system in Figma with more than 120 reusable components. Each element was documented with states, variants, and responsive rules, ensuring clarity for developers and reducing onboarding time.
  3. Visual Identity The brand identity centered on a geometric logo symbolizing connection and growth. I built a cohesive visual language with a signature green accent, a vibrant color palette, and modern typography, balancing trust signals with innovation cues.
  4. Documentation & Handoff Every component in the library included clear specifications, accessibility notes, and interaction guidelines. This structure reduced development time by an estimated 40% and allowed the team to scale quickly while maintaining design integrity.
